The San Diego County Fair
It’s that time of year again, on June 1st the San Diego County Fair opened for business! The theme for this year’s fair is “How Sweet It Is” and there is plenty of candy themed fun. In the themed exhibit you will learn all about the candy and chocolate making process, famous candy makers and chocolatiers, and so much more! It’s an exhibit for all five senses: sight, sound, scent, taste, and touch.
You can also experience all of your favorites rides and carnival games! The classic Ferris Wheel, rides that make your stomach drop, the giant slide, and so much MORE. Win yourself, your friend, your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your sister, your brother, your mother, or your father a prize at one of the many carnival games!
Aside from the rides and the games, there are also different exhibitions to walk through! They have exhibitions for photography, fine art, flowers, gems & minerals, and design in wood. They will also have their livestock exhibit with the finest livestock San Diego has to offer.
If that’s not enough fun, there will also be concerts and other live entertainment! The San Diego County Fair will go until July 4th so head on down before it ends!
